Update 1: @MuscleNerd has tweeted over 205,000 new A5 Cydia installs took place Sunday morning.

The Absinthe jailbreak for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 has exceeded over 1 million downloads in 24 hours, notes @p0sixninja from the Chronic Dev Team to Cult of Mac. The monumental download number was achieved on the first day of the tool’s release on January 20th, which was Mac-only at the time. Windows numbers surely will push the total downloads even higher.
The A5 jailbreak was created by @pod2g and his hacker ‘dream team’, and so far both Mac and Windows versions of the jailbreak have been released. You can check out our quick Mac tutorial here.
