Apple has lost a class-action lawsuit in Quebec, involving 15-inch and 17-inch 2011 MacBook Pro models purchased in the province.
The class-action lawsuit against Apple was filed way back in 2014, alleging the 2011 MacBook Pros suffered from graphics issues due to AMD GPUs, resulting in some displays not working and some computers not loading up at all.
The ruling made on May 11, 2021, by Judge Pierre-C. Gagnon according to PCMag, will see Apple reimburse those affected with a $175 CAD payment, along with a refund of repair services already paid for, over at the settlement website.
