Mac Mini Now Starts at $1,099 After Apple Pulls 256GB Model
The base configuration of the M4 Mac Mini now supports only 16GB of RAM and 512GB of memory.
Apple.ca Refurbs: 2016 13″ MacBook Pro without Touch Bar Now Available
Released in October of last year, Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Pro without Touch Bar is now available in Canada in the company’s online refurbished store.
Users can save up to 15% off retail price by buying refurbished, which are good as new with warranty, but except the original packaging.
Right now, prices start with the entry 2.0GHz Dual-core Intel Core i5 in Silver or Space Grey at $1609, all the way up to the 2.4GHz Dual-core Intel Core i7 with 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD for $2799.
No word on when Touch Bar models will make their way to the refurbished store, but this is a good sign they will be coming soon. If you’re thinking of picking up a non-Touch Bar model, make a decision soon, because refurbished stock moves quickly.
The design of the 13-inch MacBook Pro is very thin, the trackpad rocks, the keyboard is decent and the screen is nice and bright. But battery life still sucks in our 13-inch Touch Bar model.

The refurb store is certainly worth a regular look-see if you are considering an Apple product, but this season’s hikes in prices (along with getting rid of it’s cheapest MacBook Air) – not to mention the not inconsiderable competition – means the prices above are well over the odds for a refurb entry-level MacBook.
