Apple Maps Adds Support for VIA Rail Canada

Apple Maps has gained an update to now show data from the Montreal-based VIA Rail passenger system, which operates across eight Canadian provinces. When searching in Apple Maps, VIA Rail stations now appear in results (via MacRumors), as seen below:

Back in the fall of 2016, Apple Maps added support for another rail system, showing Amtrak stations in Canada and the USA.

Other Apple Maps updates recently include some new indoor details for malls, as noticed by iPhone in Canada reader Christopher, who said the mall now shows more detail compared to before, noting all merchants, instead of a select few:
