Best Buy Canada Launches Online iPhone X Pre-Orders
As in years’ past, Best Buy has launched iPhone pre-orders in store, but now it’s also available online for iPhone X.

Best Buy is featuring iPhone X pre-orders on the main page of its website. Once users click through, they’re taken to a landing page to select from either Rogers, Telus, Bell, Koodo and Virgin:

Once you’ve selected your carrier, device colour and capacity, you’re taken to the landing page to finish your online pre-order, which requires a $50 deposit to hold your place in line.
Best Buy says “The earlier you order, the earlier you’ll get a phone.” The retailer says they will email customers “about which store your phone will be available for pick up after the release date.”
Once you visit a Best Buy location to get your phone, the $50 deposit will be applied to the price of the phone.
Apple iPhone X pre-orders launched earlier this morning and so far, Apple has said demand has been “off the charts.”

it said i should get mine on the 6 of nov
Not bad!
Where did it tell you that? I reserved 2 phones with different carriers first thing when they went live with the pre orders, i haven’t seen any timeframe dates during the process or in my email.
I just checked the status of my order and it shows in stock and i should get it on Nov 3, cool! they have lots of inventory for launch day still if you try to reserve you can see whats available, mainly with Bell.
Is there any way I can order from bestbuy and cancel the plan later? Do I need to return the phone? I ordered one from apple store but it’s showing 21-28 delivery 🙁
it says on the website: You cannot buy this device without activating it.
It’s 4PM and on the best buy website it says a delivery date of November 1st for Edmonton!!
I got mine for the 3rd with Telus but its on a Premium Plus Plan.. Do you guys think I could change it to a Premium Plan afterwards so I can pay more upfront and play less each month?
Yes
I’m with Fido on a BYOD plan. I would like to buy the IPX through Best buy. I have a 256 GB Silver reserved for me and going to the store this evening to buy it. My question is will i be able to use my fido dollars towards the full cost of the phone? Have anyone here used Fido dollars towards payment for an outright purchase? I called Fido and they are not sure if Best buy would let me use fido dollars. i’m planning on getting the phone using the Best buy credit card (24 equal payments, 0% intersest and no admin fee). Any reviews on that best buy card?
Thanks for your help.
Still waiting in Canada for one.
