Here’s More Possible Evidence Of An Upcoming 128GB iPhone 5S [PIC]

Yesterday, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the iPhone 5S may come in Gold colour, in addition to the usual Black and White models, and also offer 128GB storage option. Today, a new report from Macerkopf notes that Germany’s Media Markt has also listed an iPhone with 128GB capacity in the ERP system. The report does not mention any Gold colour option though.

The screenshot (above) from Media Markt’s ERP system shows an ‘iPhone 5 128GB in Black’, but no device number is specified (see XXXXXXXX before iPhone 5). The source speculates that the listing may be intended for the iPhone 5S as a wildcard. It must be noted however that Media Markt listed the 128GB iPhone in its inventory management system before the rumours of a higher capacity iPhone 5S surfaced.

In case the reports of a new 128 GB storage option turn out to be true, it would double the current maximum 64 GB storage option. At the same time, it could also mean that Apple discontinues the 16 GB storage option for the iPhone 5S as the company has typically only offered three different storage options for iOS devices in the past.
