Apple Releases iOS 13.5 GM Seed Download and More for Developers

Apple has released golden master (GM) seeds of its latest software for developers to download and test, signalling public releases are imminent.

Here’s what’s available:

• Xcode 11.5 GM seed (11E608c)
• iOS 13.5 GM seed (17F75)
• iPadOS 13.5 GM seed (17F75)
• watchOS 6.2.5 (17T608)
• tvOS 13.4.5 GM seed (17L562)

iOS 13.5 includes support for Apple’s COVID-19 contact tracing API, known as Exposure Notifications, an opt-in feature allowing users to be contacted if they’ve come into contact with someone who had reported a confirmed coronavirus case.

The software update also will also allow Face ID to unlock faster for those wearing masks, while Group FaceTime calls will have an option to disable the annoying automatic face zooming feature.
