Minecraft Players Creates Virtual Version of Apple Campus 2

Apple has yet to complete their new campus, but thanks to a Minecraft player you can take a virtual tour of the company’s new headquarters.

Alex Westerlund took more than 232 hours to replicate the Apple spaceship campus in Minecraft without using any help or mods. Westerlund claims that the virtual campus is 100 percent accurate.

You can take a look at the entire virtual campus below:

In a post to a Minecraft community site called Planet Minecraft, Westerlund wrote:

“It’s an exact replica. Every hill, path, and orchard are true to the construction plans, down to the placement of each individual cherry tree.”

There is still some work that needs to be done to the parking garage, theater and maintenance shed, but the rest of the re-creation looks amazing. Westerlund estimates that his Minecraft version of the Apple campus is currently 50 percent complete.

More photos and details about the Apple Campus 2 replica project can be found on Planet Minecraft. Westerlund says he plans to continue fleshing out the building as construction in the real world continues.

Apple plans to move into the real spaceship campus later this year. Recent drone videos reveal that there’s still a lot of work to be done on the landscaping and the solar panels on the roof.
