The Google Pixel 5 is still a few months away but renders of the phone have now leaked thanks to frequent tipster.
Earlier this month, Google finally released its mid-range phone, the Pixel 4a. Along with that, the company said it’s going to launch the Pixel 5 later this fall.
Now, thanks to OnLeaks and Pricebaba, we have a first look at Pixel 5 through rendered images, and the phone looks just like the Pixel 4a. The renders suggest that there are few subtle changes though, as compared to Google’s pocket-free offering.
The renders suggest that the phone may have a hole-punch display with the cutout placed on the top left corner — just like the one seen on the Pixel 4a. At the back, the Pixel 5 is reported to come with dual rear cameras placed inside a square-shaped module. This module is positioned in the top left corner of the back panel. The two image sensors are accompanied by a flash and another unknown sensor, and the technical details of the camera setup are not known yet.

Furthermore, the renders showcase that the power button and volume rocker on the device will be on the right edge, while the SIM tray will be left edge. The bottom edge will pack in a USB Type-C port and two speaker grilles. Unlike the Pixel 4A, the Google Pixel 5 won’t include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Apart from leaking the renders, OnLeaks and Pricebaba have also revealed a few hardware details of the Pixel 5. The screen of the phone is said to measure somewhere between 5.7-inches and 5.8-inches. Its dimensions are 144.7 x 70.4 x 8.1mm which are also pretty similar to the Pixel 4a.
Other recent rumors have suggested that the Pixel 5 will sport a Snapdragon 765G processor and that it could cost hundreds less than the likes of a Samsung or Apple flagship. While none of the information we have can be confirmed till Google officially unveils the device (which should happen in October based on previous years), we may see the company acknowledge the leaks before then.
