Rumour: (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X, iPhone 8 May Debut Soon Says Leaker

According to French leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, who has reliably leaked Apple products in the past, his latest “unverified” source claims we may see new (PRODUCT)RED iPhones on the way.

Hemmerstoffer tweeted, “Take this with a pinch of salt because I got it from a new and therefore still “unverified” source but I heard that new red colored iPhone(s) might be on his way…”

Under the Twitter handle @OnLeaks, Hemmerstoffer is known for only sharing reliable ‘leaks’ from solid sources. He frequently calls out leakers for inaccuracies, such as recent social media jabs with Evan Blass (@evleaks) and previous feuds with Benjamin Geskin (@VenyaGeskin1).

Last year around this time, Apple unveiled (PRODUCT)RED versions of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which were only available for a limited time. The limited edition red iPhone models were removed from Apple’s website shortly after the presentation of iPhone X last fall.

A recent research note from Rosenblatt analyst, Jun Zhang, claimed a red iPhone X would possibly debut, in an effort to offset lower than expected demand for Apple’s latest smartphone.

Last June, @OnLeaks shared one of the highest quality leaks of the iPhone X, which turned out to be accurate.

Are you looking forward to a (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X, iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus? We may see a quiet press release announcement timed with Apple’s upcoming education special event, which apparently will debut cheaper iPads.
