Back in September, Amazon announced its own lineup of 4K televisions, along with a new Fire TV Stick 4K Max. The company also said at the time TikTok would soon be coming to Fire TV, and as of Monday, the launch has finally arrived.
To get started, visit the Appstore on Fire TV and download TikTok, then sign into your account for the latter to see your feeds. Autoplay will also be available to show non-stop Tik-Tok videos.
Now you can ask, “Alexa, show me TikTok” and you can start watching videos.
Amazon Fire TV customers can also use the Alexa Voice Remote or use voice hands-free in the new Fire TV Omni Series to control videos, such as “play” or “pause”.
“TikTok is a household staple in our home and I’m thrilled the whole family can now enjoy their favorite TikTok videos together on the best screen in the house with TikTok on Fire TV,” said Daniel Rausch, Vice President, Amazon Entertainment Devices and Services, in an issued statement.
“We love to pull up TikTok hands-free on our Fire TV Omni Series by just asking, ‘Alexa, play TikTok.’ We can’t wait to hear how our customers are enjoying the latest dance craze or viral trends with their families.”
Amazon says TikTok will be “coming soon” to Echo Show devices.
