McDonald’s Canada has launched a promotion within the company’s mobile app, offering $1 coffees starting today until February 21, 2021.
The in-app offer is for a medium size brewed coffee or iced coffee for $1 plus tax, with “unlimited redemption allowed per offer period.” If you live near a McDonald’s, that means you can redeem $1 coffees all day long for as many times as you want.
The offer excludes flavoured ice coffee and excludes any meals, pairings or other offers, says the fine print.
It’s worth noting if you’re paying with the McDonald’s app, do not enter in your debit card or credit card, but rather use Apple Pay for a more secure method of payment.
Some users in the past have fallen victim to unwarranted charges using debit and credit card payments inside the McDonald’s app.
When you order a coffee from the McDonald’s app, you get a digital stamp, plus a physical stamp from your cup, allowing you to ‘double-dip’ towards your next free coffee or fries reward.
