Google iPhone Voice Recognition Application = Best App EVER!

When I first posted about Google’s iPhone Mobile App getting an update to include voice recognition last Friday I got us all excited for no reason. Why? Well, that’s because the update never came until late yesterday evening (rumor was that it was Apple’s fault for the delay and Apple says it was Google’s fault–go figure)! I finally got my hands on the update and I must say this app is truly amazing.

How to Get the Google iPhone Voice Recognition Application on your iPhone

For starters, I first heard about the release of the voice update via Twitter. I immediately turned to the iPhone App Store but did not find any “updates” available. What gives? Well, in order to fix this anomaly all I had to do was delete the app and then reinstall–PRESTO!

Once installed I launched the app and used it immediately. There are two ways to use it. Just bring the iPhone up to your ear and speak, or press the microphone button and talk into the iPhone. Out of every phrase, keyword, and sentence that came out of my mouth the Google app identified it correctly. This app is by far the best iPhone app to date. It has made searching for information so much easier on the iPhone. Give it a try and let me know what you think. Check out these screenshots for more info:

Honestly this is the coolest app yet for the iPhone. It’s so easy to use and it’s extremely practical too (unlike some of the other apps that filling up your homescreen!). It takes full advantage of your current location to find anything around you quickly and efficiently. So, what do you think of it so far?
