Freedom Mobile’s New Ads Paint the ‘Big 3’ as Evil ‘Monolithic Wireless’ [VIDEOS]

Shaw’s Freedom Mobile says they are “excited about the launch of our newest campaign”, which targets Canada’s incumbent wireless players, Rogers, Telus and Bell.

Two ad spots, titled ‘Boardroom’, feature Canadian actor Will Arnett, who debuted his skills for Freedom Mobile last fall.

The hilarious ads paint a board meet meeting at a fictional ‘Monolithic Wireless’, where three men discuss an evil idea saying, “we’ll keep charging for more data…because they always pay!”

That’s when Arnett turns around and says “you realize this is exactly why your customers are fed up.” The men laugh and say, “what are they going to do, leave?”. Arnett responds, “they already are” and cites Freedom’s $50/10GB plan, saying “it’s time to join the millions” who have already switched over to the company.
