Shaw’s Freedom Mobile is set to launch exclusive offers at various summer events across Canada, when customers sign up on site, with discounts of 25% off select Big Gig plans.
According to marketing materials seen by iPhone in Canada, Freedom Mobile says they will be onsite at events such as the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) in Vancouver, K-Days in Edmonton, Taste of Danforth and the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in Toronto.
Freedom Mobile says customers signing up on site can save 25% off select Big Gig plans, but doesn’t list what plans are eligible.
Also, for customers not ready to sign up, Freedom Mobile will offer a free 30-day trial, by handing out SIM cards, as part of this Big Gig Giveaway campaign. The documentation mentions potential customers can try out the company’s LTE network for 30 days and get 10GB of LTE data, 1,000 minutes of Canada-wide talk and 1,000 global texts.
