Shaw’s Freedom Mobile launched last month in Victoria, B.C., and Red Deer, Alberta, with introductory $27.50/10GB plans for new customers, available for sixth months.
Now, Freedom Mobile is back with yet another promotion, offering a $43.75/10GB LTE plan for six months (after Digital Discount) on the home network, which comes with unlimited Canada-wide talk and text.
According to Freedom Mobile, “that’s 25% off the regular price while we put the finishing touches on our network and finally provide Victoria [and Red Deer] with a true choice in a wireless provider.”
Freedom Mobile originally provided early email registrations with 25% off promo codes, to be applied after the 50% off promotion ended. Now, it appears the wireless carrier has extended this discount to all new customers.
Just this past weekend, Freedom Mobile offered an unadvertised deal for customers in Victoria, extending their 50% off for 6 months on $60 plans. So far, customers in Victoria on Reddit have noted the LTE network has been pretty good, with Band 13 LTE allowing for good signals.
We’ve reached out to Freedom Mobile to find out when this promotion ends. Given Victoria and Red Deer are the newest launch cities for the wireless carrier, expect this promo to be “extended” periodically to attract new sign ups.
