Sonny Dickson has posted some images of what appears to be the rear panel on the upcoming iPad 5. The images below depict a thinner design with cues taken from the iPad mini, in line with what rumours have speculated. Check out the images below–you can see the Lightning port and speaker grilles on the bottom; unfortunately no images were posted of the shell from the side view:
Yesterday, Dickson also posted purported images of the iPad 5’s front display panel. Back in April we saw a similar shell leaked but these new images appear to show more detail. Earlier this week, Dickson also leaked alleged images of the iPad mini 2 aluminum rear panel, to go along with recent leaks of the gold iPhone 5S and coloured lower cost iPhone 5C.
Many expect Apple to announce new iPads at a fall event, possibly in October, like last year.
