‘iPad Pro’, iPad mini 4 Now Said to Be Part of Next Week’s Special Event

Okay folks, we’re not done just yet with rumours this morning. 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman is at it again, this time now claiming ‘trusted sources’ are noting next week’s special event will also include the debut of the rumoured 12.9-inch ‘iPad Pro’ and also the company’s next iPad mini 4:

Apple is currently planning to debut a pair of new iPads at next week’s event: the long-rumored iPad Pro, and a refreshed version of the iPad mini, according to trusted sources…

The larger iPad Pro is said to be available for pre-order in October, followed with a launch in November. An iPad Air 3 is not said to debut next week, but rather 2016, say sources.

Given Apple’s next event will be held at the 7,000-seat Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, it is said to be one of the company’s largest events in history given the capacity.

While Apple traditionally has an iPhone event in September, followed by an iPad event in October, it would be a jam-packed event if everything debuted next week.

How long would this event be? Three hours plus? We’re talking new iPhones, an all-new Apple TV, iOS 9, new Apple Watch bands, plus iPad Pro AND iPad mini 4? That seems like way, way too much for one event.
