Alleged iPad Air 3 Schematics Leak, Reveal New Speakers and Camera Flash

On top of the 4-inch iPhone 5se rumours, Steve Hemmerstoffer’s sources have leaked a new schematic which is said to represent one of the devices as part of the alleged Apple media event scheduled for mid-March, or maybe just a press release . . .

Although it cannot vouch for the authenticity of the source, Nowhereelse has today shared a sketch/schematic of what the source claims to be the forthcoming iPad Air 3. While the rumour mill has been silent lately on the release of the full-sized iPad, Ming-Chi Kuo and others have claimed that Apple is aiming to release the device in the first half of 2016.

As you can see from the above schematic, the iPad Air 3 will likely undergo a redesign bringing in line with the recently released iPad Pro. Notice the presence of the four-speaker system located at the bottom and top of the device. Another change is the appearance of a flash unit, which is rather interesting, because the iPad isn’t exactly the to-go point-and-shoot camera of many, due to its size. (The iPhone, on the other hand, is – see this Flickr report.)

To corroborate his earlier forecast, the KGI Securities analyst has released a note to investors saying that Apple will release the iPad Air 3 later this quarter.

Yet I still see lots of people trying to use one as a either a camera or to record at events.

Yup, sadly. I often see tourists using their iPad to take photos, or older family members over Christmas or family reunions, etc.

There’s nothing better than seeing someone at the front row of a wedding using an iPad to take pictures
