Lunch with Tim Cook? No Problem, Just Pony Up $115,000
Like last year, Apple CEO Tim Cook has joined CharityBuzz to again offer lunch at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, with proceeds benefitting the organization Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights (formerly RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights).
The current highest bid at time of writing stands at $110,000 USD, with the next minimum bid being $115,000. Bidding started last week, opening at $10,000, with 14 subsequent bids to date. The winning bid will also get two VIP passes to an Apple keynote as well.

In 2015, Cook’s CharityBuzz auction for lunch ended at $200,000, while the year before ended at $330,000. In 2013, the first time Cook put himself up for auction with a coffee ‘date’, it ended at a whopping $600,000.
Last year also saw another CharityBuzz auction for a tour of Apple headquarters, and a separate auction for lunch with executive Eddy Cue plus a free 13-inch MacBook Air.
This year’s auction ends on Thursday, May 5, 2016. Lunch will be included and you will get “approximately” one hour with Cook. Travel and accommodations are not included. If you end up winning, get that selfie stick ready.

I would bid $135,000 and my first question at the lunch would be if I could borrow $135,000.
I got some A&W coupons….
