Earlier this morning, Apple sent out shipment notifications for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus pre-orders in Canada, with deliveries set to arrive on launch day, Friday, September 22.
Some shipments are being delivered by UPS, with tracking numbers provided to customers via Apple’s order status page.
Also expected to delivery tomorrow include Apple Watch Series 3 and Apple TV 4K pre-orders. While iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus look like good upgrades for those with older iPhone models, the real excitement seems to be for iPhone X, which doesn’t start pre-orders until October 27th.

Yeah Apple sent me the ‘shipped’ notification shortly after the ATV4K arrived in Louisville, KY. I’m somewhat skeptical it’ll be delivered tomorrow, though. Fingers crossed.
Where are you located? Should arrive by Friday if you’re not out in the boonies.
Mirabel, QC (15 mins or so from YMX, where UPS lands). I’m just worried about customs clearance, which is sometimes unpredictable.
These packages are pre cleared so when they arrive into Canada, they are going to the customer directly
True but I’ve been burned in the past (with ATV4). I remember it being available at the local Apple Store before my preorder was delivered…
That’s why I reserved my phone for in-store pickup

I don’t think in-store pickup was available for the ATV4K (I might be mistaken).

I remember when I ordered my iPad Mini with Retina display direct from Apple a few years ago, China to Anchorage, Alaska, to Kentucky, to Canada. The jet flew right over my house on its way to the United States….
ahhh… the excitement and anticipation of a new iPhone… I upgrade annually and always look forward to delivery day… watching UPS trucks drive up and down my street… hoping it’ll come early vs. late in the day. I’m going for the iPhone X this year… waiting another 1 month+ sucks…

Me too, but is it going to be only another month? The reports of severe shortages and production constraints even beyond the already bleak outlook they’d forecasted for availability has me worried I’ll even be able to get one in 2017.
I got the shipping notification for my Series 3. Apple’s order status says it’ll be delivered tomorrow, but the UPS tracking page doesn’t show any progress, only “Order Processed: Ready for UPS”… :/
They’re probably in a warehouse on the ground already, just waiting for a green light.

The status just got updated. It has cleared customs, and is now in Concord, ON, on its way for delivery in Toronto tomorrow. 🙂
