Apple Updates Mac Pro Configurator With New 8TB SSD Option
As noted by 9to5Mac, Apple has just updated the Mac Pro configurator to include a new 8TB SSD option, a configuration that was listed as coming soon last week.

Initially, the Mac Pro wasn’t announced as having an 8TB configuration. But when the 16-inch MacBook Pro was announced with the option, Apple decided to add it to the Mac Pro as well.
In Canada, the new 8TB SSD option comes at an added cost of $3,120 compared to the Mac Pro’s base 256GB configuration.
Meanwhile, the following two additional graphics card options are also coming soon for the Mac Pro:
- Radeon Pro W5700X with 16GB of GDDR6 memory
- Two Radeon Pro W5700X with 16GB of GDDR6 memory each
The rack-mount version of the Mac Pro is also still listed as coming soon on Apple’s website, although it is not yet known how “soon” that option will become available.
