Apple’s Beats Studio Buds to Reportedly Debut in July, Claims Leaker

According to Front Page Tech, the long-speculated launch of the Beats Studio Buds will be upon us any moment now, with cursory estimates putting the announcement date sometime in July.

While the publication originally reported that Apple would be announcing the new Beats offering on July 21, that appears to have been a specific carrier date.

The Beats Studio Buds have been regulars at the rumour mill for a few weeks now. Promotional images for the wireless earbuds were first spotted in iOS and tvOS, following which they received FCC approval, were featured in leaked images, and were seen being sported by NBA superstar LeBron James.

With no new product launches, the Beats line has been in limbo for a year or two now as Apple focused on its own range of audio products like the AirPods Max. However, it looks like that’s about to change as the iPhone maker is clearly gearing up to launch the Studio Buds.

The Beats Studio Buds are said to carry a design language similar to that of the AirPods Pro 2 (expected to hit shelves in 2022).

They’ll be listed as Beats Studio Buds: True Wireless Noise Canceling Earphones, and will be available in Black, White, and Red, for $149.99 USD. When the Beats Studio Buds will be available currently remains unknown, but judging by the fact that they were spotted in Taiwan’s NCC database earlier this week, it should be pretty soon.
