Bell Offers $30/40GB 5G Plan to Select Lucky Mobile Customers
Bell looks to be offering a special 5G plan to select Lucky Mobile customers, the company’s prepaid brand. The enticing offer looks to be a way to switch customers over to a postpaid plan on Bell.
The text message being sent out by Lucky Mobile to select customers reads, “Here’s an exclusive offer from our friends at Bell who have special monthly plans that we don’t have.”
The message continues to say, “Get 40GB at 5G speeds up to 250 Mbps and unlimited Canada-wide talk and text for only $30/month when you bring your own phone.” It says you can use promo code “TJXXXXX” to redeem on the phone or at a Bell retail store or The Source by July 3. The code looks to be a one-time use.
Various Lucky Mobile customers on RFD said they received the text message from the prepaid carrier.
Targeted Lucky Mobile customers were on LTE plans such as $20/3GB.
Bell doesn’t offer a 40GB 5G plan on its website. Data plans with 5G start at $65/75GB. Virgin Plus does offer a $39/40GB 4G LTE plan.
Lucky Mobile’s website offers a $29/40GB 4G LTE plan. So it seems for $1 more per month, you can switch to Bell and get 5G speeds. It’s unclear if Bell will raise prices on the promo plan in the future, as we’ve seen in the past.
Did you get this text offer from Lucky Mobile to switch over to Bell?
