Bell has announced a strategic partnership aimed at developing advanced AI solutions with Mila. The collaboration seeks to improve customer experience, streamline business operations, and foster a robust AI ecosystem in Québec and Canada.
This new partnership builds on an 18-month collaborative project where Mila and Bell applied deep learning neural network algorithms within Bell’s environment. The project utilizes AI deep learning to enable computers to process information similarly to the human brain.
“Our new partnership with Mila will strengthen Bell’s position as an AI leader, enabling us to leverage the world-class institute’s cutting-edge research to drive improvements across customer experience, operations, data analysis, and internet-based applications. The experience and knowledge we gain from this relationship will help us support our customers better while furthering Bell’s position as a technology services leader,” said Michel Richer, SVP, Enterprise Solutions, Data Engineering & AI, Bell Canada, in an issued statement this week.
With Mila based in Montréal, Bell says it will further establish the city as an innovation hub. This includes integrating Montréal-based FX Innovation, a leading cloud-focused managed services provider, and the technology team at Bell.
