The upcoming Apple Watch Series 10 will feature the largest display of any Apple Watch model to date, judging by CAD renders of the rumoured device that recently surfaced online (via 91mobiles).

Apple is expected to unveil the Apple Watch Series 10, which previous reports suggested could be dubbed the “Apple Watch X” in celebration of the product’s 10th anniversary, alongside the iPhone 16 lineup in September.

The folks over at 91mobiles were able to gain access to and share what are allegedly raw CAD renders of Apple’s next smartwatch from industry insiders. These 3D renders give us a rough idea of what the Apple Watch Series 10’s case will look like.

Since we’re still months away from the Apple Watch Series 10’s expected launch, these leaks should still be taken with a grain of salt. However, if accurate, they serve as evidence that the Apple Watch Series 10 will feature a 2-inch display, the largest ever screen on an Apple Watch — even larger than the Apple Watch Ultra’s 1.93-inch display.

These new leaks back up a recent report from Ming-Chi Kuo, renowned oracle for all things Apple, noting that the Apple Watch Series 10 would come with a larger screen and a thinner case.

According to the renders, the Apple Watch Series 10 will be 46mm x 39.7mm x 11.6mm in size. In terms of physical footprint, that puts the upcoming smartwatch somewhere between the smaller Watch Series 9 and the larger Watch Ultra.

From the look of the rendered device, the Apple Watch Series 10 will largely inherit its predecessor’s design. The Digital Crown, side button, sensor array, and display carry the same shape and positioning as the Apple Watch Series 9.

Although there’s no sign of it in the renders, Apple is supposedly also working on a new, magnetic watch band mechanism for the Apple Watch Series 10.

Given the potentially larger display, it’s plausible that Apple could bump the available case sizes for the Apple Watch Series 10 up from 41mm and 45mm to 45mm and 49mm, as previously speculated by Kuo. The Apple Watch Series 10 is also expected to boast blood pressure monitoring functionality, which has been making rounds at the rumour mill for years now.
