This year’s Leagues Cup features all 47 clubs from MLS and Liga MX, who will pause their regular seasons to compete in this unique tournament.

With 77 matches played in stadiums across the U.S. and Canada, the top three teams will secure spots in the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup. Fans in over 100 countries can enjoy the matches with an MLS Season Pass subscription.

This tournament marks the second year of a historic 10-year collaboration between Apple and Major League Soccer. Last year’s inaugural Leagues Cup saw over 1.3 million fans in attendance, with Inter Miami CF emerging victorious against Nashville SC. Lionel Messi, making his MLS debut during the tournament, was named Best Player and Top Scorer, netting 10 goals.

André-Pierre Gignac of Tigres UANL emphasized the competitive nature of the tournament, stating, “For me, competition is essential. It’s been amazing to see the Leagues Cup grow, and I’m eager to compete.”

CF Monterrey’s Germán Berterame added, “It’s an honor to compete in the Leagues Cup with MLS. I’m looking forward to the matches and hope Liga MX comes out on top this time.”

LAFC’s Denis Bouanga echoed this sentiment, highlighting the fun and excitement of the tournament. “It’s a fantastic opportunity to win a trophy, and at LAFC, we’re always striving for more.”
