Chatr Adds $25 Plan to Lineup, Sets End Date for 20GB Offering
Rogers-owned Chatr has added a new $25 plan to its lineup, while also added an end date to its $29 plan with 20GB of data, set for August 1.
The company added a $25/500MB plan after autopay, with unlimited nationwide talk. Chat’s 4G plan lineup as today is as follows (after autopay bonuses applied):
- $15/500MB with 100 nationwide minutes and text
- $25/500MB with unlimited Canada-wide minutes (includes 500MB bonus)
- $29/20GB with unlimited Canada-wide minutes (includes 500MB bonus)
- $34/50GB Canada-US talk (includes 2GB bonus)
- $40/75GB Canada-US talk (includes 2GB bonus)
- $50/100GB Canada-US talk (includes 2GB bonus)
While Chatr is ending its $29/20GB plan soon, Bell’s Lucky Mobile is pushing a $29/25GB plan after autopay for back to school. Here Lucky Mobile’s current plans after automatic top-up data bonuses, which beat out Chatr:
- $15/500MB with 100 Canada-wide minutes and international texting
- $25/1.5GB Canada-wide minutes (1GB bonus)
- $29/25GB Canada-wide minutes (5GB bonus)
- $34/55GB Canada-US talk (5GB bonus)
- $40/80GB Canada-US talk (5GB bonus)
- $50/105GB Canada-US talk (5GB bonus)
Again, most plans are relatively the same between Chatr and Lucky Mobile. Only Telus-owned Public Mobile offers U.S. data roaming on its recently revised plans.
