Fido Launches $39/50GB Plan, Matching Koodo and Virgin

fido 39 50gb plan

Well, we knew this was going to happen eventually, right? Fido has now matched Koodo and Virgin Plus with its own $39/50GB plan.

Fido is actually modifying its $44/40GB plan by taking $5/month off for 24 months, to go with a 10GB data bonus per month, to make the plan $39/50GB. This time, Fido also says unlimited US calling is also included, matching its rivals.

The Rogers-owned flanker brand still has a $39/20GB plan, unlike Koodo and Virgin Plus. There’s also the $49/60GB plan with long distance to 7 countries.

When Black Friday rolls around this November, maybe we’ll see a $34/50GB plan or better again from flanker brands. Stay tuned, folks.
