Freedom Mobile PNE Deals: $35/75GB North American Plan and More
Freedom Mobile has launched exclusive deals for visitors to the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) in Vancouver, offering significant discounts on mobile plans, yet again.
According to Reddit, the Quebecor subsidiary is providing a $45/75GB CAN-USA-MEX plan, which includes an additional 10GB of Roam Beyond data, for a discounted rate of $35. This offer is available only at the PNE, and the connection fee has been waived.
It looks to be for new customers only, while one poster says you can finance a Google Pixel 8 for an extra $5 per month.
The promo price, which includes a $10 monthly credit and a $5 digital discount, will apply only for the first 18 months. After that, the $10 credit is expected to drop off, bringing the monthly cost to $50, with the $5 digital discount remaining.
In addition to the discounted plans, Freedom Mobile is offering visitors the chance to spin a wheel to win bonus data of 5, 10, or 20GB. However, the bonus data is a one-time addition and will not recur monthly.
The Freedom Mobile booth is located across from the Freedom Mobile Stage at the PNE (have fun finding parking and spending $100+ on fair food). $35 for a North American plan with 10GB of international roaming to 92 destinations is a pretty decent plan, that Rogers, Telus and Bell have yet to match (and likely never will).
If you’re in Toronto, we’re also seeing wireless deals at the CNE, with some available from Bell.
