Bell Internet Outage in Toronto for Some, ETA for Fix is Friday

Bell is dealing with an internet outage in Toronto for some customers. On Thursday morning, the company said on X, “Some customers in Toronto may be experiencing a service interruption due to a fibre cut caused by vandalism. We are working to restore service as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.”

An iPhone in Canada reader told us they had their internet outage in East York since 7am ET. Text messages sent by Bell said services were set to be back online between 11:42am to 3:42pm today.

But a subsequent text message seen by iPhone in Canada says the restoration efforts will now fall into Friday, from 4:23pm to 8:23pm (this text was sent out at about 1:22pm ET).

That’s going to be a pain for those working from home as they won’t have internet.

“We appreciate your continued patience as we work to resolve the issue,” explains the Bell text message.
