Apple’s Product Roadmap Leaks for November and Early 2025: Report
Apple is gearing up for its next wave of product releases, with November 1 as the target date, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his Sunday PowerOn newsletter.
With the iPhone 16 launch from September behind us, Apple is shifting focus to new iPads, Macs, and an iPhone SE update.
Gurman reports that Apple is planning to announce several products by the end of October and release some of them on Friday, November 1, which include:
- Low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 chip (code-named J604)
- High-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M4 chips (J614 and J616)
- Revamped Mac mini with M4 and M4 Pro chip configurations (J773)
- Refreshed iMac with M4 chip (J623)
- Updated iPad mini (J410)
That’s quite the product refresh gearing up for October ahead of the holiday shopping frenzy.
As for new Apple products coming in the first half of 2025? Gurman detailed the following:
- 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models with M4 (J613 and J615)
- Revamped iPhone SE (V59)
- Refreshed 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models (J607 and J637)
- New Magic Keyboards for updated iPad Air line (R307 and R308)
- Upgraded AirTag (B589)
Gurman also says new versions of the Mac Studio and Mac Pro with M4 chips are in development, with the Mac Studio expected by mid-2025 and the Mac Pro in the second half of the year. Apple has a lot of work underway to ensure its existing Macs are more than ready for Apple Intelligence (only M1 is required), set to drop in a couple of weeks.
As for next year’s fall 2025 launches? Apple is likely to release the iPhone 17 as expected, plus new Apple Watches and Macs featuring the next M5 chip, says Gurman.
