Apple today dropped its new M4 upgrade for the iMac as expected, unleashing new colours as well, on top of USB-C for its Magic accessories.

Below, you will find M4 iMac Canadian pricing, which starts at the same $1699 price as last year’s M3 iMac. Again, you’ll need to pay more for a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, a $250 upgrade to the 10-core M4 chip. Come on Apple, Touch ID should be standard across all devices by now…

Here’s the Canadian pricing for the 2024 M4 iMac lineup:

• 8-Core CPU, 8-Core GPU: 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 16-core Neural Engine, 24-inch 4.5K Retina display, 2 Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports, Magic Keyboard – $1699
• Upgrade to 10-Core CPU, 10-Core GPU: plus Four Thunderbolt 4 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, Magic Keyboard with Touch ID – $1949
• Same as above, but with 512GB Storage – $2199
• Same as above, but with 24GB Unified Memory – $2449
