First M4 Mac mini Reviews Are Here – Should You Buy It?

Ahead of tomorrow’s launch of the new M4 Mac mini (and M4 MacBook Pro and M4 iMac), the first embargoed media reviews have been published. These are first hands-on reviews from hand-picked media by Apple.
The Mac mini gained a new smaller design, and the M4 chip is blazing fast. Now starting with 16GB of RAM, the base configuration is decent, but upgrading will cost you big time.

The M4 Mac mini is priced from $799 in Canada, available for pre-order ahead of tomorrow’s launch. To upgrade from 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD to 32GB RAM and 512GB SSD, it will cost $1,549, which is nearly double the cost of the entry config.
