Apple’s Vision Pro Now Available in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates

Apple’s Vision Pro headset is now available in two new countries. Launching today, customers in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates can purchase Apple’s mixed reality headset.
Last month, it was reported that Vision Pro would be coming to the two new countries, expanding Apple’s footprint for its premium-priced headset. Preorders in both countries went live on Monday, November 4th, prior to launch. Today, Vision Pro begins to ship and curious customers can now experience a free 30-minute appointment to demo at Apple Store locations across both countries.
To accommodate the launch, Apple has localized its Vision Pro and visionOS 2 pages in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. The page covers new details on the headset as well as things to expect when receiving the unit.
Apple Vision Pro launched early in 2024. The headset first became available in the U.S. in February. It took until July of this year for Apple to bring the $4,999 headset to Canada. Thanks to the recent launch in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, Vision Pro is available in 12 countries and regions. This includes Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the U.K., China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore.
Apple recently reduced its production of Vision Pro due to weaker sales. Earlier, suppliers were reported to have produced components for roughly 500,000 to 600,000 headsets. These numbers come after Apple began reducing production numbers in mid-2023. Suppliers, such as Luxshare were left with a surplus of inventory moving forward. Now, Luxshare is claimed to only be producing around 1,000 units per day.
