Apple Music has launched its 2024 Replay, offering users a personal look back at their year in music.
You’ll find the feature again in the Apple Music app, shows your most-played songs, artists, and albums, along with new insights like listening streaks and your top songs for each month. You can even see if you’re in the top 100, 500, or 1,000 listeners for your favourite artists. Replay also lets you share highlights, such as videos and playlists, with friends and family.
For artists, Apple Music Replay in 2024 goes a step further. They can now view and share stats like total listens, the song searched for most on Shazam, and the cities where they were most popular.
Apple Music also released its 2024 Year-End Charts. Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” Drake diss track was the most-streamed song globally, Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” was the top track people used Shazam for, and Dua Lipa’s “Houdini” dominated radio spins.
Female artists made history this year with a record number of songs on the global chart, led by Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift (no surprise there).
Other highlights include the rising popularity of Japanese music, with Creepy Nuts’ “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born” ranking high in lyrics and sing-along charts.
Apple Music also introduced a new Shazam Global Radio Spins chart, where Dua Lipa came out on top.
Apple says iPhone users on iOS 18.1 or later can access their Replay 2024 experience directly in the Apple Music app from the Home, New, and Search tabs. Older iOS versions can still access the experience via the microsite replay.music.apple.com.
