Rogers and Toronto International Film Festival Sign Major Deal

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has signed a new three-year agreement with Rogers, making the company the official Presenting Partner of the Festival and the TIFF People’s Choice Award until 2027.
This partnership builds on the success of TIFF 2024, which saw a record 700,000 attendees and hundreds of filmmakers and stars–with Rogers as the headline sponsor.
“We are excited to continue our partnership with Rogers through 2027, building on the terrific momentum we’ve created together,” said Cameron Bailey, CEO, TIFF, in a statement.
“We are committed to supporting world-class film and cinema and bringing the best in entertainment to Canadians,” said Tony Staffieri, CEO, Rogers. “We look forward to celebrating TIFF’s 50th edition this year and to continuing a successful multi-year partnership.”
The 50th edition of TIFF is set to take place from September 4 to 14 later this year. Rogers and TIFF will also collaborate on new ventures, including an original content series produced by TIFF’s Studio 9 team and a special 50th anniversary TV feature to air on Citytv.
Rogers customers will enjoy special perks, such as VIP red carpet experiences through the Rogers Beyond the Seat program. TIFF says more info is coming next week about this year’s festival.
Bell was previously a longtime lead sponsor of TIFF for 28 years, but announced in 2023 it was parting ways. Rogers scooped up TIFF as a lead sponsor as a one-time deal last year, but now this multi-year deal extends that business relationship.
