Fizz TV Launches in Quebec with Promotional Pricing

Fizz has officially launched Fizz TV, a fully digital and customizable TV service available to its Internet members in Québec.

Back in May of last year, we told you Fizz TV was coming from Videotron. The TV service later launched in beta in Quebec in the summer, and now it has expanded to everyone.

“The launch of Fizz TV continues our mission of providing our members with straightforward, innovative digital services tailored to their needs,” said Martin Gendron, General Manager of Fizz, in an issued statement. “Our unique approach empowers subscribers to create a TV experience that is truly their own, and is at once affordable and flexible.”

Fizz TV lets users pick and choose the channels they want. The basic package includes 23 channels and starts at an into price of $7. Customers can then add anywhere from 5 to 20 specialty channels, which are all priced the same. There are also paid video-on-demand options.

There are channels like BBC News, CNBC, CTV News, TSN, Sportsnet, CBC and more. The channel line up is way better than Rogers Xfinity App TV, which costs $25 per month.

To get started, subscribers just download the Fizz TV app to start watching live, catch-up, or on-demand content. The app works on Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, as well as iOS and Android phones and tablets. Up to 5 users can watch simultaneously, and some content is available across Canada.
