Rogers-owned Chatr has revamped its plan lineup and is also offering a free month on plans priced from $27 and above.
The one “deal” being splashed across its homepage is a new $34/60GB plan with U.S. calling, which also qualifies for one month free. Here are the Chatr plans below as of February 27, 2025:
The fine print says it’s going to take some work to earn that free month credit, which will be applied before your first anniversary date. You also need to reply to a text message after your activation to claim and activate the credit, as it’s not automatic, which is kind of lame.
Chatr’s rival is Bell’s prepaid brand Lucky Mobile. Their prices for comparison are below, along with Telus-owned Public Mobile:

Clearly, getting a plan from Public Mobile is better since the higher plans include US-Mexico talk, text and data roaming.
