Freedom Mobile Just Lowered Pricing for a Limited Time

Quebecor’s Freedom Mobile has launched a ‘flash sale’, offering lower wireless prices for a limited time, only until March 3, 2025.
Here’s what’s showing on the Freedom Mobile website right now for bring your own device—all plans include Canada-US-Mexico roaming:
- $34/10GB + 1GB Roam Beyond
- $35/60GB + 5GB Roam Beyond (was $39)
- $45/80GB + 15GB Roam Beyond (was $49)
- $55/100GB + 25GB Roam Beyond (was $59)
- $10/100MB (2 hours talk) + 1GB Roam Beyond
- $25/3GB + 1GB Roam Beyond
These prices that include roaming in North America are way better than anything Rogers, Telus or Bell can offer right now.
Last month, Freedom Mobile announced it had expanded 5G+ network access to all plans, with the first areas to get access are the GTA, Hamilton and BC’s Lower Mainland.

Reminder that these plans are still more expensive than the ones offered at the end of last year. These only include a $5 digital discount whereas before they included $10 (Digital discount + $5 for the first year or something like that). Some do include more data though if that's your thing.
Those Boxing Day deals from Freedom were a real one off! For plans with roam beyond, I don’t think we will ever see prices like that for some time, especially since the base prices have increased.
Of course! They don’t make it obvious which credits you lose when switching on their site. I wanted to help people notice.
So for me the discounts that were offered last Black Friday only lasted for 6 months. Then I would lose it and pay more. So I was able to switch my current $45 plan which was 50 GB + 5 GB roam data to the $40 plan which is 60GB + 5GB roaming data. I am not factoring the $5 digital discount. Not much of change but at least I won''t see my bill go up once that 6 month discount expired.
Also the Freedom customer service experience has been great every time I needed them. So glad I dumped Rogers a long time ago.
