Videotron’s prepaid and digital-only brand Fizz has launched a new mobile plan offering 50GB of LTE data with talk and text in Canada for $29 per month.
According to Fizz in an email to iPhone in Canada, the limited-time deal is available now through March 31, 2025, for new and existing Fizz customers in Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, and Ontario (excluding Quebec). The same plan costs $39 in Quebec. Gone is the $26/20GB plan.
Plans from Fizz include automatic data rollover, no contracts, the ability to gift data to friends and also other member perks. As long as you remain on your plan, pricing will stay the same.
Looking at Public Mobile, today it launched a $26/20GB 4G plan. Rogers-owned Chatr has a $29/20GB plan, while Lucky Mobile has the same (25GB after autopay).
Fizz says this “flash sale” means the $29/50GB plan is only available until March 31, 2025. Signing up with a referral code (7SRQ7) can get you $35 bill credit as well (was $25).
