Bell Partners with Fortinet to Boost Business Internet Security

Bell announced earlier this week a new service to help businesses keep their internet networks safer and easier to manage. They’re teaming up with Fortinet to improve Bell’s managed SD-WAN-as-a-Service.

Simply put, this means businesses can now connect their offices and remote workers securely without needing to spend a ton of money on hardware or hire a big IT team. Bell handles everything and businesses just pay a subscription fee.

With Fortinet’s tech, Bell says the service will be more secure, faster, and easier to use. Companies won’t have to worry about buying expensive equipment upfront because Bell supplies it. Managing the network will also be easier, with one simple system to control everything.

“Adding Fortinet to Bell’s managed SD-WAN service enhances our customers’ choice of secure and reliable connectivity solutions. It combines the Fortinet Secure SD-WAN approach with Bell’s managed services capabilities,” said Costa Pantazopoulos, Vice President, Product, Bell, in a statement to iPhone in Canada.

If a company expands and adds new offices or workers, Bell’s setup can easily scale to handle it. Plus, the service is designed to keep businesses protected from cyber attacks as well.

“Leveraging our 25 years of investments, local presence and expertise in securing Canadian organizations, we are deepening our relations with Bell to help businesses, enterprises and government to enhance their network security with trust, high performance and simplicity,” added Pedro Paixão, Senior Vice President, International Sales and Services, Fortinet Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Other telecoms include Telus and Rogers also offer services from Fortinet for business customers too.
