Bell MTS Price Increases are Coming This October: Here Is What Changes

Manitobans on Bell MTS are getting another price increase this fall. The company recently posted a service bulletin update confirming that monthly rates on a range of home services are going up in price on October 1, 2026.

Internet customers take the biggest hit, as every Fibe Internet plan goes up $5 a month, and that covers the whole lineup from Fibe 75 all the way to Gigabit Fibe 3.0.

Fibe TV goes up $3 a month across the Basic, Good, Better and Best packages.

Home phone increases depend on what you have. A Basic Phone Line goes up $1 a month, while Home Phone Essentials and the Total Home Phone Package both go up $2.

“At Bell MTS, we continuously invest to keep Canadians connected and provide reliable services. In order to support these investments, the monthly rate of some of our home services will increase as of October 1, 2026,” explains Bell for the price hikes.

If you’re bundling internet, TV and phone, these stack. Someone on Fibe Internet with a TV package and Home Phone Essentials is looking at $10 more a month, or $120 over a year.

Manitoba Telecom Services was acquired by Bell in 2017, a huge $3.9 billion deal was approved by the federal government.

Bell MTS customers saw two price hikes in 2025 and now we’re seeing prices go up again this fall in 2026.
