Telus Joins Rogers and Bell with New 250GB Roaming Plan
Wireless plans from Rogers, Telus and Bell have been tweaked after the end of Canada Day promos.
Telus today made some changes to its plans, specifically increasing the price of its 60GB plan while also increasing data for its most expensive plan. Check out the current Telus plans below for bring your own device and after autopay:
- $60/60GB 5G (was $55)
- $65/100GB 5G+ (was 125GB)
- $75/175GB 5G+ Canada-US
- $95/250GB 5G+ Canada-US-Mexico-Caribbean (was $90/225GB)
The roaming plan from Telus is $5 cheaper than rivals and also includes the Caribbean, which is a bit of an edge versus rivals.
If your employer offers Telus Employee Purchase Program (EPP) corporate plans, you can try to get the new Telus global roaming plan, which is $70/150GB and offers roaming in 68 destinations. Rogers offers a similar global plan as well.
Here are Rogers plans in comparison for BYOD and after autopay:
- $70/100GB
- $80/175GB Canada-US
- $100/250GB Canada-US-Mexico
And here are plans from Bell for BYOD and after autopay:
- $70/100GB 5G+
- $80/175GB 5G+ Canada-US
- $100/250GB 5G+ Canada-US-Mexico
As you can see, Telus plans are almost aligned with Bell and Rogers. So far, Bell and Telus have not matched the connection fee increase to $80 set by Rogers. Also, next month Rogers will increase its daily Roam Like Home rates, making them more expensive than Telus and Bell.

Worst plains on the planet earth 3rd world countries have better cheaper plans this only happens in Canada because you have a government & a crtc who is afrade of rogers & have no balls to do anything but just talk s-$t & hide in rogers asshole🤡🐷😡🤬💲💵💰🇨🇦🖕📈😝
So just get Freedom
$49 plan that roams the world not just North America and the Carribian. Sure less data monthly but if you're on vacation you shouldn't need 200 GB
$80 Admin fee for ROGERS? It was a big enough insult at $20. At $80 Rogers is dead to me.
The worst part is the CS reps that help with the connection don't even make close to that for their commission, it's just the companies padding their pockets.
