Apple Drops Official iOS 26 Design Kits for App Creators

Apple has released official design kits for iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, making it easier for app designers and developers to build apps that look and feel like they belong on iPhones and iPads.
The kits are now available for popular design tools like Figma and Sketch, and include everything from app icon templates to colour guides and layout templates. These tools help creators design app interfaces that match Apple’s style, which is key for getting apps approved and looking polished.
If you’re a UI/UX designer, app developer, or student learning to build mobile apps, these kits give you all the pieces to design apps the ‘Apple way.’ Think of them like a starter pack for making legit-looking apps without guessing the layout or spacing.
New Figma and Sketch kits were released today, July 17, 2025, while the Adobe versions (Photoshop, Illustrator) were released back on June 9. They’re free to download and save hours of design work by giving you the official templates Apple itself uses.
Apple has yet to release its Public Betas for its newest software, but that’s expected next week. Today, the company sued leaker Jon Prosser for allegedly sharing secret Apple designs early related to iOS 26.
