First Look at Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold Officially Released

Getting ahead of further leaks, Google has officially pulled the curtain back on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, offering the first look at the upcoming foldable.

On its official Made by Google YouTube channel, the company posted a video simply titled ‘Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold | Open’. The 30-second-long video shows some brief looks of the device, hidden by shadows, before revealing the device in full. The video ends with Google asking customers to “Ask more of your phone.”

The teaser shows a quick look at the inner display of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and a pretty good peek at the rear of the device. This includes a still shot, showing the rear camera array as well as the gray colourway, previously shown on the base Pixel 10 teaser. Overall, the new device looks a lot like last year’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold

Aside from this, Google hasn’t offered any official specs or a breakdown of upgrades pertaining to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Unsurprisingly, Google is likely ensuring that further leaks don’t get ahead of the company’s own messaging before its August 20th Made by Google event.

It’s largely rumoured that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will maintain the same camera array and sensors of its predecessor. It’s also believed that Google will maintain an 8-inch inner display while slightly upgrading the outer display to 6.4 inches.

For upgrades, it’s rumoured that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will support Google’s Tensor G5 chipset, a nominal upgrade from the G4 processor. It’s also claimed that the device will utilize IP68 resistance to water and dust.

We still don’t know how much the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will cost or when it’ll launch in Canada. Early reports from WinFuture seem to point towards an October launch, while the rest of Google’s Pixel 10 series may release shortly after the reveal on August 20th.
