Fizz Mobile Kicks Off Back-to-School with 50% Off Plans: Now Live

Videotron’s Fizz Mobile has just launched a major discount to allow new customers to try out the wireless service, set to roll out later today (stay tuned for updates).

Dubbed the Discovery Discount to kick off back to school season, this offer is for new customers and gives 50% off any wireless plan—for 6 months only. It’s available to those in B.C., Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario.

Fizz told iPhone in Canada the deal will be available from August 22 to September 2, 2025. This promo is valid on any Fizz plan and “will still be valid if the member makes a change to its plan during the 6 months period,” explained the company.

As of writing, here are the nationwide plans from Fizz in B.C., with the 50% pricing showing in parentheses:

With the promo, these plan prices get cut in half for 6 months. When Fizz first expanded outside of Quebec last spring, it offered plans that were heavily discounted by 90% as part of a beta period.
