Netflix Top 10: The Wrong Paris Crushes Charts, Wednesday Reigns Again
Romance was the vibe on Netflix this week, with two rom-coms stealing the top spots.
On the English films list, The Wrong Paris — starring Miranda Cosgrove and Pierson Fodé — hit No. 1 with 21.8 million views. Over on the non-English side, Germany’s She Said Maybe debuted at No. 1 with 7.2 million views, following a couple’s trip to Istanbul that takes a dramatic family turn.
Fans also kept KPop Demon Hunters alive at No. 2 with 21.2 million views in its 14th week (yes, kids are still belting out that soda pop song). Meanwhile, documentaries had their moment too: aka Charlie Sheen landed at No. 4 (7.2 million views) and Unknown Number: The High School Catfish sat at No. 6 (4.5 million views).
On TV, Jude Law and Jason Bateman’s thriller Black Rabbit came in strong at No. 2 with 6.6 million views, while Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black: Season 2 grabbed No. 3 (6.6 million views).
The Addams Family spin-off Wednesday isn’t slowing down either. Season 2 took No. 1 (7.2 million views), and even Season 1 popped back up at No. 9 (2.1 million views). Animated comedy Haunted Hotel slid into the chart at No. 10 (1.8 million views).
Globally, international TV was buzzing too. Korea’s Bon Appétit, Your Majesty topped the non-English list with 6.5 million views, followed by Spain’s Billionaires’ Bunker and Mexico’s The Dead Girls.
