Koodo Drops $30 CAN-US-MEX Plan for Black Friday, Cyber Monday
Earlier this month, Telus and Koodo launched special deals only available on Reddit, and now we’re starting to see something actually come out of this.
A new Koodo deal is getting a lot of attention, and it looks like one of the best carrier offers for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Several RFD users say they reached out to the Telus/Koodo Reddit support line at 250-755-4852 and were offered a Canada US Mexico plan with 60GB of 5G data for $30 per month. That’s $10 off the plan that is normally priced at $40/month right now.
One user said they called to ask about Black Friday promotions and were told the price of the 60GB Canada US Mexico plan had been dropped to $30 per month, with the $80 activation fee waived. There is no requirement to have any home services, and the discount works out to $10 off per month for 24 months. They called it “amazing for a 60GB Canada/Us/Mexico Plan.”
Another person confirmed the same offer after texting the number, writing, “I just got this plan, texting the same number as OP [Original Poster], (250) 755-4852.”
They shared the full message from the Koodo rep. The plan includes 60GB of 5G-speed data along with unlimited calling and texting within Canada. Call display, voicemail and call waiting are included. Customers can also pick one free perk from a list that includes Premium Voicemail, a 5G speed boost, data rollover or unlimited long distance to 27 countries.
Koodo told them a credit check is required and pricing is month to month unless you pair the plan with a phone. The rep also said the $10 per month discount applies when pre-authorized payments are set up from a bank account and confirmed the $80 activation fee can be waived for now. They noted prices can change and are only guaranteed on the day they are offered.
For holiday travel or anyone who needs US or Mexico roaming included, this is one of the lowest prices available right now, especially with the waived activation fee and the plan being only month-to-month.
