Telus Stores Are Turning into ‘Stranger Things’ Pop Ups: Here’s Where

Stranger Things has started releasing its final season on Netflix, and Telus is setting up small Upside Down themed pop ups in a handful of its stores.
The displays in Toronto, Calgary, Quebec and Kelowna let visitors walk through scenes based loosely on the show while staff outline how Stream+ works. Stream+ is the bundle that includes Netflix, Disney and Prime Video, priced from $10/month for ads versions and $25/month for the premium ad-free versions.
People can enter a draw for a Stranger Things prize pack valued at $700. Items listed include a branded record player, a Hawkins Tigers bomber jacket and a holiday sweater. The pop ups also include photo areas, such as a Demogorgon display and bikes set up to mimic scenes from the series.
Telus sent iPhone in Canada some quick pictures of what the pop ups look like, so check it out below:

The pop ups run from December 3, 2025 to January 19, 2026 at:
- Toronto, Eaton Centre on December 3
- Calgary, Southcentre Mall on December 5
- Quebec, Fairview Pointe Claire on December 4
- Kelowna, Orchard Park Mall on December 6
The break between seasons of Stranger Things has been long. Season 4 came out in 2022, and the final season is happening right now, so fans have waited more than three years. The delay was partly due to production stoppages during the writers’ and actors’ strikes. Four episodes released on November 26, three episodes drop on Christmas Day and the finale episode is on New Year’s Eve, all released at 5pm PT/8pm ET, to maximize views (smrt).
